This review is from: Magellan Premium Car Kit for iPhone and iPod touch (Electronics) The product has good construction and looks very sturdy. I have a iphone 4 with revo4 case (which is very thick) and it fits perfectly with the adjustable gps mount, you just have to set the right pressure (because iSkin REVO4 is too thick). I am sure it would be easier with thinner iphone cases. It fixes good in the windshield. Sometime, if not well connected it displays some alert as "this device is not optimized for use with this iphone" or something like that, but IT DOESN'T AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT AT ALL. Just assure the device is properly placed and connected. You have to be careful (but not that much) on taking the iphone off the gps mount. I believe it would be a good advice whatever the gps you have (be it TOMTOM or Magellan)... GPS reading were reliable and fast. Sound level was good to my needs (it has a built in speaker and BT mic to amplify iphone's). I've used it in Orlando and Miami area, with TOMTOM for iphone. I am very satisfied and recommend it to all.
