He spends a fair amount of time on the road and his old Garmin was finally giving up the ghost. He wanted free maps and current road conditions which are both offered on this unit. He uses a cell phone a lot so I wanted the feature where he can use the bluetooth feature to make calls by voice not using his hands at all. So far he has reported that it is working extremely well and he is very happy with it.
