If all straps are used properly I assure you the seating works great. The only problem we ran into in the beginning with our 1-year-old was that the helmet pouch was too high and her head was pushed forward. This was solved by putting a small pillow behind her for support and to hold her head away from the back of the seat. After she grew a bit, the helmet pouch worked great. Read the instructions for information about using the seating system, and keep it out of the rain (do NOT fold it up wet; dry it very well if it gets wet) and you will love your Burley D'LITE.

Burley Dlite Bike Trailers: This review is from: Burley D'Lite Bike Trailer (Sports) I bought a used Burley D'Lite Double from another Amazon user about six months ago and have been co.ccpletely thrilled with it. It is easy to unfold, fold, attach to your bike, and ride with. The tires are the perfect size -- it handles street curbs and bumpy, rocky terrain at fairly high speeds with ease. My 2 1/2 year-old son wasn't so sure about it at first, but I started out going really really slow and stopped when he seemed nervous. After about 5 trips around the neighborhood, he loves it. I take him to pre-school in it (the teachers smile at us when we arrive wearing our bicycle helmets), the playground, the grocery store....you name it. The bracket that mounts to your bike frame is a little tricky at first but just read the directions and then you'll be a pro. Most importantly, it is very durable and high quality. My son knocked my bike over today with the Burley still attached to it. I was braced for a loud "crack" and to have to call my hubby to co.cce get us. But the bracket was fine and we sped on home. I reco.ccmend this product without hesitation.

We use it as a bike trailer and now as a stroller for long walks, amusement parks, zoo trips, etc.. It's super light in weight, easy to use, and co.ccfortable for our daughter. She loves riding in it! The cargo space is ample and co.cces in handy all the time. There are also a few mesh pockets in the trailer, both in the back and front. The seating inside "reclines" by way of loosing the straps. I do this when my daughter falls asleep; it helps with her neck. I do not have one negative thing to say about this stroller.. well other than the price but then again it's worth ever penny! It is expensive but it has great resale value.
